Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship for Teacher-Training Application Period
January ~ February every year
Eligibility
You must be under 35 years of age and a graduate of a college or teacher training college. You must have at least five years of active experience as a teacher in a primary, secondary or teacher training college in your country. (Please note that college and university teachers currently in active service are not considered for this scholarship).

Application Process
IMPORTANT NOTES:
January ~ February: Submit application form to the Public Service Department of Malaysia by due date.
March: Interview. Only successful candidates will be notified to attend the interview.
August: Notification of final result.
October: Depart to Japan.
- Late submissions will not be entertained no matter what reasons are given.
- Applications without sufficient documents (stated in the guidelines) will not be considered.
- Submitted application forms and documents will not be returned, whatever reasons given.
- The decision on successful candidates made by the Embassy of Japan is final. Any queries on the final decision will not be entertained.
