Tunku Abdul Rahman Education Grant (PPTAR)

Pemberian Pengajian Tunku Abdul Rahman (PPTAR) Education Grant
PPTAR is reserved for students who excel in academic achievements under Soft Sciences and has leadership potential. The grant covers costs of living and tuition fees for students pusuing their Bachelor's Degree in local higher learning institutions studying full-time.

Candidates are chosen from those who have successfully followed through the Traits Observation Programme for the Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship. Recipients of PPTAR are students who come from underprivileged families.

The Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR) Board of Trustees will determine the amount and number of recipients of PPTAR.

Application Requirements
(i) Citizen of Malaysia.
(ii) Aged not more than 25 years on the closing date.
(iii) A full-time registered student in any Degree at IPT.
(iv) Successfully followed the Leadership Traits Observation Program organized by YTAR.

Status of PPTAR Recipient
To any recipient of PPTAR who successfully displays academic excellence and leadership performance, consideration may be made to upgrade the status of the recipient to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship (BTAR) scheme, thus holding the title of 'Tunku Scholar'.
