. Closing date : 18 June 2008 The Government of the Republic of Korea is providing scholarship in master’s degree and doctorate degree for 30 Malaysian students to study in Korea. The scholarship serves to promote education exchanges and mutual friendship between Malaysia and Korea as well as to help them keep pursuing their higher education. The scholarship duration covers two years for master’s degree program and three years for a doctor’s degree program (excluding a 1-year or less Korean language course). Scholarship holders are required to take a preparatory Korean language training course before taking a degree course. Benefits of the scholarship include roundtrip airfare, monthly allowances (about RM2,800), tuition fees, research allowance, dissertation printing cost, settlement and repatriation allowance, medical insurance as well as full Korean language training expenses for one year.
