Closing Date Application is opened throughout the year Background of the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1966 by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in Hualien , Taiwan. For more than 40 years, the Foundation has been active in four Missions namely , Charity, Medicine, Education and Culture. The missions subsequently exended to include Bone Marrow Donation, International Relief, Environmental Protection and Community Volunteerism to its operation. Collectively, they are known as ‘One Step, Eight Footprints ’. Tzu Chi operations are funded by donations from the public and from its volunteers. The disbursementof donations is always transparent and properly supervised; and that has earned the confidence and support of the public. Scholarship Talent Attraction and Retention (STAR) for MARA / JPA Scholars

About Scholarship Talent Attraction and Retention (STAR) MARA or JPA Scholars JPA Scholars who have not been offered employment by the Government (including recruiting authorities other than Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam) after graduation are eligible to participate in the STAR programme. TalentCorp will contact the scholars who have successfully been accepted to participate in the programme.Scholars who have not been contacted by TalentCorp but are interested in participating must first seek JPA's permission to be allowed to participate. Terms and conditions Scholars continue to be bound to the terms and conditions of their scholarship contract with JPA. Scholars must report for duty to JPA upon graduation and apply to Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA) as per existing procedures. Failure to do so will negate eligibility for the STAR programme.
