Professional Accounting Programmes
Highly-skilled workforce especially in the area of certified chartered accounting is expected to be in greater demand, about double the current supply, reflecting the increasing importance of this profession to the country. Malaysia needs 60,000 professional accountants by 2020. In aiding Malaysia to reach this vision, Yayasan Peneraju embarked on a proactive intervention initiative.

Yayasan Peneraju, since its inception in 2012, introduced 6 sponsorship accounting programmes (full time and part time study mode) to suit different entry points ranging from SPM leavers to working professionals. These programmes target to support aspiring professional accountants with highly sought after professional accounting foundation certification (ie. CAT) and professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, ICAEW and MICPA-CAANZ.

This programme aims to increase the number of certified professional accountants via the fastest route to a career in accountancy. This programme is targeted towards young and motivated candidates to start their professional accounting certification during their tertiary studies.

Entry Requirements
This program me is targeted at Bumiputera and SPM leavers who are interested in furthering studies in fundamental level certificates such as Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and professional certificates such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA ). The entry requirements are as below:
1. Bumiputera
2. 18 years old below
3. Minimum 5A’s in SPM or O - level including English AND Mathematics

Benefits of Programme
This programme give s you the opportunity to obtain foundation in accounting certificate of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and also a professiona l accounting certificate of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

This programme gives scholars the opportunity to obtain an i nternationally recognized foundation in accounting certificate (CAT) and professional accounting certification (ACCA) while being funded at leading education institutions in Malaysia. Apart from CAT and ACCA certification, scholars will also obtain a Degree in Applied Accounting of Oxford Brookes University (OBU) through Research and Analysis Project (RAP) upon completion of this programme.

Furthermore, scholars will also undergo a Nurture and Develop Programme (NDP) design to improve the soft skills of each scholars to be well - equipped before embarking on a career.

Scholars will need to complete all certification papers (CAT, ACCA and OBU Degree) within 4 years on a full time study basis.

Education Fund: Type of sponsorship covered by this programme
This programme is sponsored in a convertible loan basis where the tuition fees, annual subscription fees, initial registration fees, exam fees and exemption fees , allowances and accommodation, will be put under a loan basis. However, scholars are only required to pay only a maximum of 20% from the total of the mentioned fees upon completion of the programme (terms and conditions apply). Further reductions of the payable amount will be subjected to Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju)’s discretio n and the scholar’s performance .

Scholars who withdraw or who are terminated from the programme are required to pay all costs incurred on behalf of the scholar to Yayasan Peneraju. The amount will be calculated by Yayasan Peneraju up to the point of termination

You will be contacted by tuition provider to submit the documents. Only candidates that meet the requirements and complete the documents will be informed by tuition provider to attend the interview and assessment sessions.

If you already made the application through Yayasan Peneraju’s website, there is no need to apply through tuition provider.

We only accept applications from applicants who have not started any of their certification papers.
